/ A severe snow storm that struck Germany and a number of European countries caused the suspension of all flights at Munich International Airport (the second largest airport in the country) yesterday, Saturday, until this morning.

A video widely circulated on social media showed a frozen Cessna Citation

For its part, the airport administration reported that a business plane belonging to the Austrian airline Bairline flipped onto the back of its fuselage and stuck to the runway at Munich Airport, due to the snow accumulated there, according to what was reported by the German News Agency.

A Bairline representative also said: “This plane is actually one of our company’s planes, and the cause of the accident was heavy snowfall,” denying the validity of the news that stated that the plane was heading to Dubai, where the COP28 climate conference, dedicated to combating global warming, is being held.

Storms and winter weather conditions had a severe impact on railway services, as the main station in Munich was halted, traffic was also greatly affected in the state of Bavaria in southern Germany, and regional services were severely damaged, according to a spokeswoman for the railway operating company.
