Baghdad – IA – Hassan Al-Fawaz
The head of the Federation of Iraqi Industries, Adel Akkab, confirmed today, Thursday, that the participation of the Iraqi private sector in the 47th edition of the Baghdad International Fair currently being held will be qualitative and more distinguished, especially in the “Made in Iraq” pavilions.

Akab told the (INA): “The exhibition today is a gateway to partnerships for joint work with neighboring countries, especially since there is great government support from the Prime Minister to ensure distinguished qualitative and quantitative support for the participating parties.”
He added, “This year the exhibition includes a distinguished presence of the pavilions of Iraqi private sector companies, as well as the presence of the ‘guest of honor’ Saudi Arabia through its companies, merchants and businessmen.”
He continued, “Iraq has an industrial sector that deserves to have an important role in the development process and is represented by companies from the private sector. It has taken it upon itself to provide job opportunities, reduce unemployment, and bring in hard currency.”
He continued, “The Baghdad International Fair, in its 47th session this year, witnessed a major change, as industrialists worked to make the special halls and pavilions that bore the name ‘Made in Iraq’ the strongest among the participating countries, in their organization, arrangement, and quality of the exhibit, to be at the level of the name Iraq.” Pointing out, “We were only able to obtain two halls.”
Akab continued, “The participation of 19 countries in addition to Iraq in the Baghdad International Fair is an event that does not go unnoticed with the presence of a large number of businessmen, and we expect the signing of important agreements that are in the interest of the Iraqi industry and economy.”
