Al-Rafidain warns of fake pages claiming to grant sums of money to citizens

Rafidain Bank warned against dealing with fake pages and websites claiming to grant sums of money to citizens.

A statement by the bank, received by the (INA), stated that “Rafidain Bank warns against dealing with forged pages, sites or links in its name or bearing the name of the bank and claiming to give gifts and sums of money and provide offers and rewards for the purpose of luring citizens to enter those fraudulent electronic links and fake pages under the pretext of Conducting competitions, referendums, or questionnaires in exchange for money for the purpose of setting them up for scams and fraud.
The bank stressed, according to the statement, the necessity of dealing with the bank’s news and products published on its official websites “exclusively.” The bank also reserves its legal right to pursue those impersonating the bank, pointing out that it disclaims responsibility for any publications or advertisements published on other than its official websites.
