Al-Zawraa Club management member and club spokesman, Abdul Rahman Rashid, confirmed that the football team will miss the services of five players in today’s match against Al-Naft in the 12th round of the Iraqi Stars Professional League.
Rashid told the (INA): “The team has five absences against Al-Naft due to injury, and they are Mustafa Muhammad, Mustafa Nazim, Ahmed Abdel Hussein, Ahmed Zamil, and Muhammad Ali Abboud.”
Rasheed added, “Our match against Al-Naft is a big confrontation between the players on the one hand and the coaches on the other hand,” noting that “Al-Zawraa’s coach, Hossam Al-Badry, is one of the great coaches, as he was the captain of the Egyptian national team and led the Al-Ahly club, and he has a good reputation and good experience in training, as well as Al-Naft Club coach Basem Qassem, who led the national teams and was coach of Al-Zawraa Club with whom he won the championship title, so the confrontation will be with a great deal of enthusiasm and excitement.”
Al-Zawraa ranks third in the standings with 22 points.
