At the conclusion of the Arab Theater Festival, a Moroccan show wins the Sheikh Al Qasimi Award

A Moroccan theatrical show won the Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Special Award at the conclusion of the Arab Theater Festival in Baghdad.

The correspondent reported that 4 shows competed for the award: Revolution from Algeria, Zaghanbot from the Emirates, Tekanza Story of Tuda from Morocco, and Happy Life from Iraq.

She added that the winner of the award was Tekanza’s play, The Story of Tuda.

Minister of Culture Ahmed Al-Badrani told the (INA): “We congratulate the brothers in Morocco on this victory. The Iraqi and Arab performances were beautiful, deserved to compete, and were carefully selected. Baghdad won the hearts of the Arabs for their warm hospitality, good organization, as witnessed by the participants and attendees.”

The activities of the Arab Theater Festival, organized by the Arab Theater Authority, in cooperation with the Department of Cinema and Theater in the Ministry of Culture and the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, concluded this Thursday evening in the National Theater Hall in the National Theater Hall, during the period from 10 to 18 January in Baghdad, with the participation of theatrical performances from Arab countries. all.
