Our national team continues its preparations in Qatar to face its Vietnamese counterpart next Wednesday for the third round of the 2023 Asian Cup.
The media coordinator for our national team, Muhammad Imad, told the (INA), today, Sunday: “The team went through a morning training unit with all the players present, stressing that the team is fully prepared for the next match.”
Imad added, “It is too early to talk about the team’s list, and coach Jesus Casas usually does not announce the lineup until the day of the match,” noting that “options have become available to the technical staff while ensuring qualification to the next round.”
Regarding the injury of striker Ayman Hussein, Imad explained, “Ayman Hussein’s health condition is good, and his injury is a bruise that does not cause concern. His participation in the next match is in the hands of the coach, and there are no other injuries among the team.”
Imad continued, “Our match against Vietnam will be held at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club, and there is no point in changing the stadium,” pointing out that “qualification has become a reality and we will play on the 29th of this month with the third of one of the second, fifth, or sixth groups.”
