Baghdad International Fair.. Investment expects to strengthen cooperation with Saudi Arabia participating as a “guest of honor”

Today, Wednesday, the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Haider Muhammad Makkiya, expected the strengthening of economic cooperation with Saudi Arabia in light of its participation with a huge delegation in this year’s Baghdad International Fair, which began today, praising this participation.

Makiya told the (INA): “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani has always stressed that true development begins with stability and economic and banking reform, which is achieved day after day in Iraq and was reflected positively through the huge blessing of local, Arab and international companies at the Baghdad Exhibition.” International Conference at its forty-seventh session.
He added, “Saudi Arabia is participating as a ‘guest of honor’ with a large delegation, and there were meetings of the National Investment Authority in Saudi Arabia, and we promised that their participation would be with a large delegation that includes…
Saudi merchants and businessmen to attend the activities of the current Baghdad International Fair, and all these efforts, in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, culminated in the presence of this huge delegation.”
Makiya continued, “This coordination will be reflected in economic cooperation, and there will be meetings within a real economic cycle between Iraqi and Saudi businessmen, and in the end, memorandums of understanding will be signed, which will benefit the Iraqi citizen in the future.”
This evening, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani opened the forty-seventh Baghdad International Fair.
