The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has issued a new database for clubs that will prevent new players from being registered on their rosters during the next transfer window.

The database includes a number of major African clubs, most notably Moroccan league giant Wydad Club, (6) teams in Saudi Arabia and (5) in the Argentine league.
The current list includes three of the eight clubs that participated in the inaugural edition of the African Football League this season, namely Wydad of Morocco, Esperance of Tunisia, and TP Mazembe of Congo. Another African power, Zamalek of Egypt, was also included.
The suspension of registration was imposed on the Saudi clubs Al-Raed and Al-Wahda recently in three transfer windows, and four clubs from the Saudi First Division League are also included in the “FIFA” list, which are Al-Faisaly, Al-Qaisumah, Jeddah and Ohod.
The clubs in Argentina that are currently unable to register new players are Banfield, Central Cordoba, Independiente, San Lorenzo and Union.
FIFA can impose a ban on two or three transfer windows after clubs violate transfer rules or have unpaid transfer debts to other clubs, and the ban can be lifted by settling the debts, as the Saudi Al-Nasr Club did last year after it included Cristiano Ronaldo.
Clubs prohibited from registering players in cases often called “suspension of registration” can sign new players, but they will not be able to participate in matches due to their inability to register them.
