/ The Iraqi junior national team tied 0-0 with its Jordanian counterpart in a trial match that is part of its preparations for participating in the West Asian Federation Championship in the Sultanate of Oman.

The match took place at four o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday at Petra Stadium in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, and the score remained the same in the second half until the referee blew his whistle, announcing the end of the match in a goalless draw.

The Iraqi youth team will play its second match on the sixth of this month before heading to Oman to participate in the West Asian Championship, which will be held in the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman for the period from the tenth to the 20th of this month.

The Iraqi national team plays in the first group, alongside the national teams of Oman, Lebanon and Yemen.
