Agency correspondent stated that the team suffered a loss in its test match by one goal, with a score of 23-24 goals.
The Iraqi handball team had won, during its trial matches in its camp held in the Sultanate of Oman, over the host team in the previous match, with a score of 36-32 goals, in preparation for the Asian qualifiers for the 2024 World Cup.
The Iraqi national team is led by a training staff consisting of Egyptian Sherif Moamen, head coach, Mohamed Kazem and Salah Raji, assistant coaches, and Mohie Salah, coach of the goalkeepers.
