Today, Friday, the player of our national cycling team, Sarbast Abdullah, won the bronze medal in the Arab Championship competitions taking place in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

A statement by the Iraqi Olympic Committee, received by the (INA), said: “The player Sarbast Abdullah won the bronze medal, after coming in third place in the general individual race for a distance of 160 km, for the under-23 category, with the participation of 48 contestants representing eight Arab teams.” While the Algerian competitor, Hamza Yassine, won first place and the gold medal, and his colleague Hamza Amari won second place and the silver medal.
He added, “Ten teams participated in the Arab competitions: Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Qatar, the Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, and Libya.”
