Karbala Stadium returns to host Stars League matches »

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that today, Friday, will witness the opening of Karbala International Stadium after the completion of maintenance and rehabilitation operations that lasted for 6 months.

The Ministry explained in a statement received by the (INA) that “the maintenance and rehabilitation process for Karbala International Stadium included the stadium floor as well as other matters, including spectator seats, lighting system, cameras, Internet network, and audio.”
The statement added, “Karbala Stadium, which can accommodate about thirty thousand spectators, is now fully prepared to host local and international competitions.”
He noted that “the reopening of Karbala Stadium today, Friday, will witness a group of various events before the match between Karbala and Al-Minaa in the Iraq Stars League competitions.”
