Polish Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich striker, strengthened his lead in the European Golden Shoe ranking as the top scorer in European leagues, after scoring two goals for his team during their 5-1 victory over Cologne in the German League.

Lewandowski raised his tally of goals to 28 goals and points to 56 points, a significant difference ahead of his most prominent competitors.
Argentine Lionel Messi, Barcelona star and top scorer in the Spanish League, and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus star and top scorer in the Italian League, advanced to fourth place, accompanied by Portuguese Andre Silva, Frankfurt striker, and runner-up to Lewandowski in the German League.
The trio scored a goal each in the weekend matches, raising their tally to 19 goals and 38 points, 7 goals and 14 points behind the Polish striker.
Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, Liverpool striker and top scorer in the English Premier League, dropped to 11th place, accompanied by Norwegian Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund striker, with 34 points from 17 goals.
