Milan snatched a fatal victory against its host Newcastle United 2-1 in the match that brought them together on Wednesday, at St. James Park, in the closing round of the group stage of the Champions League.
Joelinton gave Newcastle the lead in the 33rd minute, while Christian Pulisic equalized the score for the Rossoneri (59), before Samuel Chukwueze added the second goal for Milan (84).
