The administrative body of the North Gas Club announced today, Tuesday, that it has contracted with three professional players in preparation for participating in the Arab Women’s Basketball Championship, which will be held in the Emirates on the second of next month until the 12th of next month.
The Financial Secretary of the North Gas Club, Hasban Dhahi, told the (INA) that “the club’s management has strengthened the ranks of the women’s basketball team with three professional players in preparation for participating in the Arab Women’s Basketball Championship competitions, which are scheduled to be held in the Emirates at the beginning of next month,” stressing that the female professionals, two of whom are of nationality. The American (Sarah Dickey and Italy Lucas), as well as the Senegalese (Mani Khawaday), explaining that the contract was made according to the vision of the team’s coaching staff.”
He added, “The management of the North Gas Club seeks to achieve good results in the Arab Women’s Championship in the first foreign participation at the women’s level of the game, indicating that the team continues its intensive preparations, whether in the internal or external training camps that will precede the tournament.”
