Football coach Sadiq Saadoun confirmed that the pressure of matches in the professional league has a positive characteristic, despite the teams suffering from its consequences at the technical level.
Saadoun told the (INA), today, Thursday: “The pressure of the Iraq Stars League matches has positive effects on some teams, especially the big clubs, because of its technical benefit for the players who represent the national teams,” indicating that “all countries of the world play under pressure.” Matches, and Iraqi football is in dire need of development, but we still need a period of time to at least match the Middle Eastern countries.”
Saadoun added, “The conditions are still not conducive to withstanding this pressure, especially the provincial clubs, which bear the greatest burden due to the hassles of travel and the difficulty of movement,” noting that “the coach also suffers from this pressure due to the lack of time to study and correct errors, in addition to the lack of recovery period, which causes Fatigue and a large number of injuries that are difficult to compensate for, which has a negative impact on the team in terms of performance and results.”
