The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced today, Thursday, that those over the age of 70 will be allowed to perform Umrah, provided that they have obtained the anti-Corona vaccine.
“Okaz” newspaper revealed that “The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah allowed those over the age of 70 to issue permits through the “Umrah” or “Tawakkalna” application and book appointments to perform Umrah, on the condition that they are immunized with two doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines.”
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had previously clarified that the ages of those allowed to perform Umrah from within the Kingdom and issue the permit through the “Umrah” or “Tawakkalna” application must range between 18-70 years, in accordance with the previous instructions of the Ministry of Health, and that those over the age 70 years old cannot perform Umrah and issue permits even if they have been vaccinated with Corona vaccines.
