/ The Iraqi Basketball Federation announced, on Wednesday, the names of the 10 teams participating in the 3×3 Republic Championship, representing Iraq, according to what was reported from each sub-union.
The participating teams included: Kirkuk Governorate, Erbil, Karbala, Diwaniyah, Najaf, Wasit, Babylon, Sulaymaniyah, Nineveh, and Dohuk Governorate.
The Republic Championship will be held at the People’s Hall in the capital, Baghdad, on Friday and Saturday, corresponding to 10-11 of this month of November.
Last August, the North Gas team was crowned champion of the Iraqi Women’s Basketball Championship, which took place in Erbil, after defeating Akad Ankawa Club in the final match with a score of (56-54) points.
