The head of the Nebna Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, confirmed today, Thursday, that the coordination framework will soon decide on the selection of the Speaker of Parliament.
Al-Amiri said in a statement received by the (INA), that “we emphasize the importance of the unity of the coordination framework and the necessity of its cohesion,” indicating that “what happened recently during the vote to choose the Speaker of the House of Representatives is something that everyone understands, and this issue will be resolved within the framework soon, and we will overcome this.” Aqaba, just as we have overcome previous obstacles.”
He added: “We also renew our firm belief that the strength of the framework lies in the multiplicity of viewpoints of its parties before agreeing on any of its subsequent steps, and all the leadership of the framework realizes the importance of this with great responsibility and caution, based on their knowledge of the magnitude of the risks facing Iraq and the region.”
