Today, Wednesday, the Federal Office of Financial Supervision announced the completion of the career intersection for those included in the appointment of first-time graduates and those with advanced degrees.

The head of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Ammar Subhi Al-Mashhadani, said in a statement to the (INA): “The Bureau completed the cross-audit procedures for those included in the appointment of first-timers and those with advanced degrees, and sent the results to the Federal Service Council and the Ministry of Finance.”

He stressed that “the issues of financial allocation and issuance of forms relate to the Federal Service Council, the Ministry of Finance, and the House of Representatives.”

The Federal Service Council announced the completion of procedures for launching the appointment form for seniors and those with advanced degrees.

The head of the Federal Public Service Council, Mahmoud Al-Tamimi, said in a statement to the (INA): “All technical procedures have been completed to launch the appointment form for (31) thousand job grades for first-timers and those with advanced degrees.”

He added, “The Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee has another host for the Minister of Finance, on the basis of which the decision will be made to launch the special form for first-time students and those with advanced degrees.”

He stated that “the Service Council does not work in a unilateral manner. It has key and individual partners who are in constant communication and there are no obstacles. Rather, there are administrative procedures.”
For his part, Vice Chairman of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee, Adel Al-Rikabi, told the (INA): “The emergency support law for food security legislated by the House of Representatives for the year 2022 explicitly and clearly stipulates the appointment of holders of higher degrees as well as the first in accordance with the laws required to appoint them.”

He pointed out, “The budget law for 2023 noted this right for holders of advanced degrees and first degrees,” pointing out that “so far 40,000 have been appointed, while 31,000 degrees remain for whom no appointment form has been issued.”
He added, “The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Higher Education Committee intend to host the Minister of Finance to discuss the issue of appointing holders of advanced degrees and top graduates and treating them fairly.”

Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, chaired an expanded meeting with the concerned authorities to find out the reasons for not completing the procedures for appointing (31) thousand job ranks for first-time students and those with advanced degrees.

In a statement, Al-Mandalawi stressed “the necessity of launching the appointment form and allocating the necessary funds for degree holders, and stressed that the legislation in force must not be disrupted,” directing “to host the Minister of Finance next week to expedite the resolution of the remaining grades file in implementation of what was stated in the budget law.”
