Hisham Al-Rikabi, media advisor to the Prime Minister, confirmed that the International Monetary Fund is evaluating the government’s policy on the economic level.

Al-Rikabi said in his blog post on the (X) platform, followed by the (INA), that “the International Monetary Fund evaluates the Iraqi government’s policy on the economic level and summarizes its report to:
First: Iraq is making progress in the growth of non-oil GDP
Second: Economic activity is recovering.
Third: Welcoming government plans aimed at strengthening public financial management,
Fourth: Appreciating the government’s efforts to strengthen the local liquidity management framework.
Fifth: The International Monetary Fund confirms its readiness to support the Iraqi authorities regarding reform.”
