The Minister of Health reveals a future plan to manage health projects from international companies

Today, Thursday, the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, revealed the Ministry’s future plan regarding the management of hospitals by international companies, while indicating the imminent referral and inclusion of hospitals and health projects in Holy Karbala.

Al-Hasnawi said to the (INA): “The second scientific conference of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital (peace be upon him), in which distinguished and highly specialized services were presented to the people of Holy Karbala and the rest of the neighboring governorates, especially the visitors.”

He added, “The Ministry’s future plan is to expand specialized services in this hospital, in addition to referring similar projects to international companies for management,” stressing, “The Najaf Al-Ashraf Hospital will be referred to an Italian company to manage and operate it, and in the future other hospitals will be referred for the same purpose, including the Hospital Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) in Holy Karbala.

He pointed out, “A hospital with a capacity of 100 beds will be transferred to Al-Jadael Al-Gharbi District soon, in addition to a hospital with a capacity of 200 beds will be included in Al-Hindiya District, in addition to many projects in the Holy Governorate of Karbala, including a center for the digestive system, in addition to rehabilitation.” Al-Husseini Hospital, emergency, and other health centers.”

He explained, “The government program includes cooperation between the federal government and local governments in the health sector, and this cooperation is very clear between the federal ministry and the Holy Governorate of Karbala.”

For his part, the Governor of Holy Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, said in his speech during the second scientific conference held at the Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Teaching Hospital in Holy Karbala: “Holding scientific conferences and seminars constitutes an opportunity for researchers and specialists to review, evaluate, keep up with the latest scientific developments and developments, and benefit from International studies and expertise and consolidating scientific and health relations in a way that contributes to increasing health awareness and raising educational and health standards.”

He continued: “Also, holding scientific conferences represents the production of a future vision for the advancement and advancement of the health sector towards better levels and working together to provide the best services to the citizens of the governorate and its esteemed visitors.”

In turn, the director of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Teaching Hospital, Hussein Al-Khazraji, told the (INA): “The scientific conference witnessed the presence of presidents of public and private universities, deans of colleges, teaching professors, medical staff from inside and outside the governorate, and directors of health institutions in the department.”

He added, “The conference was held in cooperation with a number of pharmaceutical companies, and witnessed the presentation and discussion of (15) scientific research and theatrical works entitled A Message to Patients’ Families.”

He continued: “A documentary film was also shown about the hospital from the beginning of its founding until now, and the remarkable successes achieved left a good impact on the souls of patients and their families, in addition to distributing commemorative shields and certificates of appreciation to the chairs of scientific sessions and lecturers.”

The conference hall at the Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Teaching Hospital in Holy Karbala hosted the activities of its second scientific day under the slogan (Hand in Hand, Joined Efforts to Provide Distinctive Health Services).
