The head of the National Teams Committee in the National Football Association’s National Authority, Asaad Lazem, revealed the arrival of several CVs of foreign coaches to choose who will lead the Olympic team in the upcoming upcoming competitions, stressing that next week the name of the coach will be announced.
Lazem said in a statement to the (INA), today, Thursday, that “the Normalization Authority received several CVs from Spain and the Netherlands for coaches with a great training history and distinguished achievements to lead the Olympic team,” indicating that “the technical committee in the Normalization Authority will study these names to evaluate the best.” The selection will then be made by the committee charged with selecting the coach, provided that the assistant technical staff shall be Iraqi coaches.”
Lazem added, “During the next week, the name of the coach will be announced to begin the team’s preparations for its continental matches.”
Lazem continued, “The Normal Authority has worked over the past few days to prepare the training crews for the teams of older age groups and decided to adhere to 95% of them, and all the coaches’ contracts will be renewed this year until the end of the current year,” noting that “there are names put on the committee’s table to select the coaches.” They will be selected according to the study of the technical committee responsible for the CVs.”
