The People’s Summit did not live up to the level of ambition »

Baghdad – IA – Hussein Ammar
Football coach Ali Wahib named the round of draws for the eleventh round of the Iraqi Stars Professional League for the current season, which concluded yesterday with the most prominent derby match between the Air Force and the students, which witnessed the opening ceremony of the Al-Shaab International Stadium after its rehabilitation again.

Wahib told the (INA), today, Monday: “The 11th round did not differ from the previous ones, which were full of technical weight, so I think we should call it the round of draws,” indicating that “the matches were characterized by slow movement and there was a state of fatigue among the players due to the momentum of the matches and the pressure of frequent travel.” “.
Wahib added, “The coach is the only person who suffers from the pressure of competition. As for the club administrations and the public, they want to see the player perform for 90 minutes and in an increasing manner, without anyone being aware of the extent of the impact of this negative situation on our league and the players. The closest example is the summit match between the Air Force and Al-Stulib teams.” Which, according to my technical assessment, did not live up to the level of ambition. Rather, it was not a special match, and in fact, it did not fit with the important event, which is the opening of the long-awaited Al-Shaab International Stadium.
