The presidents of Iraq and Estonia stress the strengthening of economic cooperation between the two countries

President Abdul Latif Rashid confirmed today, Tuesday, that Iraq is working to strengthen economic cooperation with Estonia.

The President of the Republic said in a joint press conference with his Estonian counterpart Alar Kares, which was attended by the (INA): “We are working to strengthen economic cooperation with the Republic of Estonia,” noting that “Iraq is witnessing remarkable security stability.”
He added: “We denounce all attacks on Iraqi territory. We also condemn the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, and call for its immediate cessation.”
For his part, the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Kares, said: “The bilateral relationship with Iraq is active,” noting that he “discussed in Iraq the challenges in Europe and the Middle East.”
He pointed out that “Iraq is currently enjoying prosperity, and we are offering all our efforts to achieve security and peace in Iraq,” stressing “support for international efforts to stop the fighting in Gaza.”
