Former US President Donald Trump said in an interview with American broadcaster Hugh Hewitt that he wants to debate President Joe Biden as part of the election campaign.
Trump said in response to the host’s question about whether he would participate in a debate with Biden if they both won their parties’ nominations: “You ask me? I will wait for this with bated breath! What about ten rounds?… How about we debate ten times?”
The Colorado Supreme Court previously banned Donald Trump from participating in local elections, and earlier, lawsuits were filed demanding that Trump not be allowed to participate in the elections in 16 other American states.
On December 10, the New York Times reported that Europe fears the consequences of Trump’s possible victory in the upcoming presidential elections.
Trump, for his part, also said that Biden poses a threat to democracy in the United States.
