Two exciting draws in the opening of the eighth round of the Iraq Stars League

Today, Thursday, the Al-Kahraba team snatched a valuable draw from its host Nawroz, 1-1, at the opening of the eighth round of the Iraqi Stars Football League, while the Al-Hodood and Al-Qasim Habayeb teams were eliminated with a 3-3 draw.

The Newroz team and its guest, Al-Kahraba, tied 1-1 in the match held at Sulaymaniyah Stadium in the eighth round of the Iraq Stars League. Newroz’s goal was scored by Mohamed Sami in the 16th minute from a penalty kick, while African professional Dennis Tetteh scored for Al-Kahraba in the 91st minute.

The confrontation witnessed the expulsion of one of the Kahraba players in the first half, increasing the team’s suffering after the absence of eight key players, whom coach Louay Salah decided to rest before playing his important match in the last round of the AFC Cup group stage.
At Amanat Baghdad Stadium, the Al-Hudood and Al-Qasim teams tied 3/3, as the first half ended in a 2/2 draw as well. Ibrahim Ghazi scored two goals for Al-Hudood (29, 44) and Hussein Jassim (47), while Falah Abdel Karim (21) and the professional Misuki scored for Al-Qassim. Olmo (32) and Saif Al-Din Zahir (75). The match witnessed, in its final minutes, the expulsion of two players from Al-Hedoud, Karar Salem, and the other from Al-Qassim, Saif Al-Din Zaher.
With these results, Newroz’s balance increased to point 11, while the electricity balance became at point 7, and the borders raised its balance to point 13 and Al-Qasim to point 11.
