On Monday, China was hit by a 5.1-magnitude earthquake in southern Xinjiang province, while a landslide in Yunnan province led to the death of 47 people who were buried under the dirt.

The German Center for Geoscience Research reported that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers, while the Chinese Earthquake Networks Center announced that the magnitude of the earthquake reached 4.8 degrees.
Meanwhile, a landslide in Yunnan Province, southwest China, led to the death of 47 people who were buried under the dirt.
The Chinese Xinhua Agency reported that “the slide led to the burial of 18 families under the dirt, while more than 200 people were evacuated from the area.”
She explained, “The authorities sent more than 200 rescue workers and dozens of fire engines and other equipment to the stricken area.”
