Spanish press reports revealed today, Saturday, that Barcelona has closed the door on Inter Milan, which wants to acquire the Blaugrana star during the winter transfer period.
The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” said: “Barcelona star Sergi Roberto received an offer to move to Inter Milan during the current season.”
The newspaper noted, “The offer came through one of the intermediaries, before Sergi Roberto shone and scored two goals in Barcelona’s last match against Almeria in La Liga.”
She explained, “Barcelona is aware of Inter’s interest in obtaining Roberto’s services, but it is difficult to dispense with him in the winter, due to the many injuries in the midfield.”
Sergi Roberto “had informed his agent not to listen to any other offers until April and May 2024, that is, one month before the expiration of his contract with Barcelona.”
