Mayor of the Russian city of Voronezh, Vadim Kestinin, announced at dawn on Tuesday that a state of emergency had been imposed in the city following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
Kestini wrote on Telegram: “A specialized committee will examine the damaged house and its surroundings, to assess the damage to real estate and movable property, and in order to make decisions quickly, an emergency system has been imposed at the city level.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that its air defenses shot down 3 Ukrainian drones over Voronezh at dawn on Tuesday.
In a later statement, the Russian Defense Forces explained that its forces destroyed 5 Ukrainian marches and intercepted 3 others over Voronezh last night, and 4 marches were intercepted in the neighboring Belgorod province.
