Today, Thursday, the management of the North Refineries Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project determined the completion rates achieved and the date of operating the refining unit, while indicating that the refining furnace has reached its final stages of completion with a completion rate of 90%.
The project manager, Hadi Saleh Dhaher, told the (INA): “The campaign to reconstruct and rehabilitate the North Refinery is continuing, as work is proceeding at a high pace and has reached advanced stages in which the completion rate of the refining furnace has reached 90% of assembly and construction, and currently we are in the final stages.” To complete the furnace.
Zahir added, “The plan drawn up by the project management and the company’s management is currently proceeding within its plan, as the plan has reached very advanced stages, and new furnaces have been installed for the hydrogenation unit, numbering 2 furnaces, with completion stages reaching 90%, while the rest of the units such as energy and services have arrived.” Technical achievement also reached an advanced completion rate of 80%.
He explained, “The 3 bollards were also rehabilitated, in addition to the containers and the rest of the networks. As for pumping and storage, which includes the conveyor networks linking the production units to the tanks, the tanks were referred to companies, and the construction of these 36 tanks was initiated.”
He pointed out that “the operating stages will be within the planned plan, as we are currently working hard to operate the refining unit by the end of this year.”
