The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, announced today, Tuesday, that the price of a layer of eggs will soon drop to five thousand dinars.
Al-Ghurairi said in a speech during his meeting with a number of political analysts and journalists, including a correspondent for the (INA): “There are 400,000 deceased and travelers only in Baghdad Al-Karkh. They were monitored when the electronic ration card was applied. They were receiving the ration card rations,” pointing out. He pointed out that “the Ministry will move to an updated program and the citizen can update the electronic ration card from his home instead of going and suffering. The update will be through the unified card and instructions will be issued soon by the Ministry.”
He pointed out that “the Ministry will launch the largest campaign to build silos,” noting that “Iraq has only 27 silos, and 10 silos will be built in the coming period.”
Al-Ghurairi confirmed that “a large batch of eggs entered Iraq, and will reach the markets within days, and the layer of eggs will reach 5 thousand dinars.”
He pointed out that “the next Baghdad International Fair will differ greatly, be more modern, and participation will be greater,” noting that “one of the companies present at the Baghdad International Fair has so far concluded 28 trade exchange agreements, and another is looking for agents in Iraq.”
Regarding wheat, Al-Ghurairi confirmed that “the Ministry of Commerce has provided a store of wheat in order to maintain the market by providing materials, using precise timings, and following a marketing policy to deliver the materials to the target group, maintaining market balance, and stocking sufficient and full of wheat and foodstuffs.”
