4th Infantry Division undergoes teaching pedagogies training

Bukidnon State University (BUKSU) collaborated with the 4th Division Training School (4DTS) of the 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, to enhance the skills of army instructors in literacy, teaching, and research.

Retooling Philippine Army Instructors

The extension project, titled “Retooling the 4th Infantry Division Philippine Army Instructors in Functional Literacy, Teaching Pedagogies, and Research,” took place from November 27-29, 2025, at Camp Osito D. Bahian in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The training covered functional communication, including the use of AI tools for teaching and learning, blended learning pedagogies, and research methodologies. Specific research topics included needs assessment, developing research instruments, crafting publishable research papers, formulating research titles, research design, data analysis, abstract writing, citation, referencing, and research proposal development.

BUKSU’s College of Education – Secondary Education Department (COE SED) expressed gratitude to LTC Albert M. Batingga INF (GSC) PA and the 4DTS team for their support of the project.
