Frank Caliendo of Sligo, Ireland, has died peacefully surrounded by family on December 20th, 2025, at the age of [age not provided]. He was known for his work at The Ritz Restaurant and Liber, both in Sligo.

Caliendo is survived by his daughter Suzanne, son Brian, and grandchildren Noah, Benjamin, and Luca. He was predeceased by his wife, Nuala.
He is also remembered by his sister Ann Mc Gonigle, son-in-law Jeremy, daughter-in-law Ailbhe, and brothers-in-law Jerry Mc Gonigle, Dan, Michael, Ger, Jim and John. Sisters-in-law Esther and Leila, along with numerous relatives, neighbours and friends also mourn his passing.
Reposing will take place at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Sunday, December 21st, from 3pm, with removal at 5pm to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo, arriving at 5:30pm. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, December 22nd at 11.30am and will be livestreamed via www.sligocathedral.ie.
Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Family flowers are requested, with donations in lieu to the North West Hospice Fund c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo via www.feehilys.ie/pay.
