Emergency services have downgraded an emergency-level bushfire warning to a watch and act for residents in Boya, Darlington, Greenmount and Helena Valley, approximately 35 kilometres east of Perth.
Boya Bushfire Downgraded to Watch and Act
Residents in an area south of Padbury Road, bounded by Coulston Road, Approach Road, Clayton Road, Victor Road, Beenong Road, Darlington Road and Dalry Road, are advised to stay alert and monitor their surroundings as conditions are subject to change, according to EmergencyWA.
A Bushfire Advice warning has also been issued for people in an area bounded by Helena Valley Road, Scott Street, Great Eastern Highway, Lionel Road and Glen Road in Mundaring.
The bushfire is currently moving in a north-easterly direction but is stationary. However, authorities state the bushfire is not contained or controlled.
Emergency services have urged residents to leave immediately if safe to do so. (ABC News)
