Gerald (Ger) Donohoe of Knockbarragh, Kildavin, Co. Carlow, has died peacefully at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny on January 16th, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Ger Donohoe was the beloved father of John, Peter, and Mary. He was predeceased by his wife, Marcella (Marie), and his parents, John and Mary.
He is deeply regretted by his daughter, sons, daughters-in-law Berna & Laura, son-in-law Niall, grandchildren Tom, Marianne, Sarah, Albie & Lottie, brother Tom, sister-in-law Mairead, brother-in-law Pat, nephew John, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing at his home (Y21 VY52) on Sunday from 10am, his remains will be removed on Sunday evening to Saint Lazerian’s Church, Kildavin for 7pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Monday at 11am, followed by burial in Kildavin Cemetery.
