Operations in Balochistan and KP
In Balochistan’s Zhob district, security forces killed 10 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Wednesday. The ISPR stated the terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and civilians.
Separately, 26 terrorists were killed in KP during IBOs, according to the ISPR. Eight militants were killed in Balochistan, bringing the total to 34.
The operations were conducted to eliminate India-backed terrorists, the ISPR reported. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have applauded the security forces for their success in eliminating the militants.
The military’s media wing stated that the operations were carried out in response to recent terrorist activities in the regions. Security forces continue to conduct operations to ensure peace and stability.
