To ensure links open externally within the Facebook app, users should:
- Open the settings menu by clicking the hamburger menu in the top right.
- Choose “App Settings” from the menu.
- Turn on the option “Links Open Externally.”
Enabling Cookies in Internet Explorer 7, 8 & 9
To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 7, 8, and 9, users should:
- Open the Internet Browser.
- Click Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced.
- Check Override automatic cookie handling.
- For First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies, click Accept.
- Click OK and OK.
Enabling Cookies in Firefox
To enable cookies in Firefox, users should:
- Open the Firefox browser.

Enabling Cookies in Mobile Safari (iPhone, iPad)
To enable cookies in Mobile Safari, users should:
- Go to the Home screen.
- Select the Settings icon.
- Select Safari from the settings menu.
- Select ‘accept cookies’ from the safari menu.
- Select ‘from visited’ from the accept cookies menu.
- Press the home button.
- Select the Safari icon.
- Press and hold the Home button until the display goes blank and the home screen appears to restart Safari.
- Select the Safari icon to return to Safari.
