Mary Chambers, formerly of Achill, Co. Mayo, Ireland, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick J. Chambers, and her parents, Martin “Gaffer” and Celia Masterson (née Cattigan). Also remembered by her brothers Brian “Bernie” and Martin, and her sister Bridget Patten.
Mary is deeply regretted by her loving daughters Sheila, Eileen Boland (Brendan), Theresa, and her son Thomas (Lisa). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Brendan, Mary, Celia, Bridget and Kate Boland, Jillian O’Brien (Raymond) and Patrick Chambers; her sisters Sheila Cafferkey (Seamus) and Catherine Cussen (Martin); her sister-in-law Breege; her cousin Edna Masterson Doyle; nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Church, 3644 Rocky River Drive, Cleveland, Ohio, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Chambers Funeral Home, 4420 Rocky River Drive at Puritas, Cleveland, on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed. Family flowers only are requested. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Monastery of the Poor Clares, 3501 Rocky River Drive, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.
