The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) has filed a criminal case following the vandalism of the gravesite of its founding president, Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe.
Robert Sobukwe Gravesite Vandalized
The PAC condemned the act as disgraceful in a statement released on Wednesday, asserting that the vandalism was intentional.
According to the political party, the act was “a deliberate and calculated attempt to tarnish the name, legacy, and enduring contribution of Sobukwe.” The PAC believes these actions are driven by forces attempting to create division and confusion.
The PAC is calling for a swift and transparent investigation to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.
