Man, 40s, seriously injured in alleged assault in Dublin

A man in his 40s sustained serious injuries in an alleged assault in Dublin early this morning. The incident occurred on Amiens Street, North Wall, and the man is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.

Assault Investigation Underway

The assault took place at approximately 2:35 a.m. on Amiens Street in Dublin 1. The injured man was transported to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.

Gardaí (Irish police) have conducted a technical examination of the scene. They are appealing to the public for information regarding the incident.

Investigators are specifically requesting anyone who was in the vicinity between 2:30 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. to come forward. This includes individuals with video footage, such as dash-cam recordings.
