Pakistan is receiving international recognition for its mediation efforts between the United States and Iran, according to State Minister for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani.
Fuel Supply and Economic Stability
Kayani stated that fuel supply is being maintained and closely monitored, with all ministries collaborating to ensure stability. He emphasized that, unlike some other nations, Pakistan has avoided long lines at petrol stations.
The minister affirmed that every possible measure is being taken to provide relief to the public and that all economic challenges are under review. He noted the government’s efforts to control oil prices for three weeks following the start of the conflict and the reduction of the levy on diesel to zero during this period.
Kayani highlighted Pakistan’s progress on both economic and diplomatic fronts, reiterating the international appreciation for its role as a mediator.
