A body camera video from February 2024 was shown in court, depicting Burke speaking with sheriff’s deputies who were investigating the disappearance of Rivas Hernandez.

Beyond the photographic evidence, prosecutors allege that Burke’s own blood and DNA were located in the garage of his Hollywood Hills residence. Additionally, court photos suggest that Burke amputated two of the victim’s fingers to remove a tattoo that could have linked the two individuals.
