While the stock Audi RS Q8 outputs 600 or 640 horsepower, the ABT Power R upgrade pushes output to a striking 1,000 horsepower, corresponding to 736 kW.

The engineering suite includes dedicated turbochargers and a custom intercooler paired with an indirect water-ethanol injection system known as IWI. Operating via a dedicated control unit positioned ahead of the throttle valves, the IWI system sprays a water-ethanol mixture to deliberately cool the engine internals under heavy loads.

This thermal reduction allows denser, oxygen-rich charge air to enter the combustion chambers, ensuring stable high-end performance. To achieve peak output, the vehicle requires fuel with a 102 octane rating according to the reporting. Drivers can check fluid levels, system status, and engine parameters directly through a smartphone application called myABT.

Aerodynamics, Stance, and Interior Appointments

The vehicle’s exterior presence shifts dramatically through a combination of aerodynamic adjustments and suspension geometry. Tuners utilized the ABT Level Control electronic module to lower the ride height alongside active stabilization systems, giving the chassis a pronounced low-slung posture that alters its traditional SUV stance.

Matte exposed carbon fiber dominates the body kit, which features a front lip bearing the RSQ8-LE logo, front apron attachments with intake grilles, hood inserts, and vent-equipped wheel arches. Gloss-black mirror caps, fender flares, a rear skirt, and a carbon rear wing round out the bodywork, while a stainless steel exhaust system with four 105-millimeter tailpipes manages the V8 soundtrack.

The model rides on 23-inch forged wheels finished in Satin Gold, wrapped in 295/35 ZR23 tires. Gold accents extend across the vehicle exterior and interior, anchoring a theme built around the color Neodym as noted in the build specifications. Inside, the cabin combines Alcantara and matte exposed carbon with specialized badging on the seats, floor mats, and door entry sills, alongside puddle lamps that project the anniversary logo onto the ground.

Performance Benchmarks and Warranty Framework

The modified crossover hits a top speed of 320 km/h, outrunning factory high-performance peers. Comparable series production super SUVs such as the Aston Martin DBX707 and the Lamborghini Urus SE operate under factory speed limitations pegged at 310 to 312 km/h according to industry tracking. The Ferrari Purosangue is also outpaced on top-end velocity by the ABT variant, which records an average fuel consumption figure of 13.6 liters per 100 kilometers under mixed driving conditions.

Ownership terms distinguish between factory engineering and aftermarket alterations. Once the tuning package is applied, ABT Sportsline assumes the warranty obligations for the engine and transmission, replacing Audi’s factory coverage for those specific components. The specialty guarantee runs for two years or up to 100,000 kilometers from the date of the vehicle’s first registration. Audi’s baseline factory warranty remains intact for untouched systems, encompassing the body shell, lighting clusters, and cabin electronics.

Production Run and Pricing Structure

Production of the ABT RSQ8-LE 1000 is strictly limited to 30 units globally, serving as the final installment in a trio of anniversary models that began in March with the RS6-LE 800 and continued with the Cupra Formentor VZ5 following a structured release calendar.

Each vehicle features an individual serial number engraved on the central console alongside a 130-year anniversary coin. Securing the conversion requires a substantial financial outlay.
