/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani considered, on Thursday, the signing of a contract between two Iraqi and Saudi private companies, the beginning of activating future partnerships between the private sectors in the two countries.
The Sudanese media office stated in a statement received by Agency, that the latter praised the signing of the partnership contract between the Iraqi “Diyar” Company (private sector) and the Saudi “Northern” Cement Manufacturing Company, in the first partnerships between the Iraqi and Saudi private sectors, in the field of cement, which took place. Yesterday, directly sponsored by the Iraq Fund for Development.
This came during the Sudanese reception of the Saudi Ambassador to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, in the presence of the CEO of the Iraq Fund for Development, Muhammad Al-Najjar, and representatives of the Iraqi and Saudi companies.
Al-Sudani stated that this partnership opens the way for broader future partnerships between Iraqi businessmen and companies and their Saudi counterparts, which encourages the private sector in the two brotherly countries towards creating more joint job opportunities and sustainable development, and strengthens the interconnection between the Iraqi economy and the economies of neighboring countries.
