/ The Al-Talaba team achieved an important victory over the Dohuk team, while the Kurdistan derby ended with Zakho’s victory over Newroz, on Monday, in the seventh round of the Iraq Stars League.
A “crazy” match took place between Al-Talaba and Dohuk at the latter’s stadium at 2:30 p.m., and ended with Al-Talaba winning 3-1 after Al-Talaba turned the tables on Dohuk, which was ahead by a goal without an answer for Al-Talaba until the end of the match’s regular time.
The first half ended with Dohuk leading with a free goal for Al-Talaba, which came in the 14th minute through professional player Yannick Zachry. In the second half, the match continued as it was until the 90+2 minute, where Al-Talaba scored two goals from two penalty kicks scored by Zaid Tahsin, 90+2 and 90+12. In the 90th + 17th minute, Muhammad Jawad added the third goal.
In the Kurdistan derby match, which took place at Zakho International Stadium at 2:30, Zakho FC defeated its guest, Nawroz FC, with a score of 1-0.
The first half ended in a goalless draw, and at the beginning of the second half, the Zakho team scored its goal in the 47th minute through professional player Gustavo Henrique, so the match continued and ended with this result.
