AppleCare One is expanding outside the United States for the first time, bringing multi-device insurance coverage to the UK, France, Germany, and Australia on August 4, 2026. The subscription plan covers up to three products—including accidental damage, battery service, and theft protection—starting at £16.99 per month in the UK.
AppleCare One International Expansion Details and Pricing
A year after its initial debut in the United States, Apple’s bundled device protection plan is crossing international borders. The service arrives in the UK, France, Germany, and Australia on August 4, 2026, marking the first time customers outside America can manage their device warranties under a single monthly bill.
Regional pricing structures vary by market to reflect local currency adjustments. In the UK, the baseline plan costs £16.99 per month for three devices, with the option to add extra items at £4.99 per month each. European customers in France face a monthly rate of €20.99 with additional devices priced at €5.99 each. For comparison, the original US tier remains priced at $19.99 monthly for three products with a $5.99 fee for each additional device.
What Coverage and Limits Are Included in the Bundle
Subscribers receive the core protections traditionally associated with individual AppleCare+ policies. The plan provides unlimited repairs for accidental damage, free battery replacement service when batteries hold less than 80 percent charge, and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts.
Beyond standard drop and spill protection, AppleCare One expands theft and loss coverage across a wider array of hardware. While theft protection was previously restricted primarily to iPhones in many regions, the bundled service extends loss coverage to iPads and Apple Watches. However, claims face specific boundaries: users are restricted to a total of three theft or loss claims per year across all enrolled devices.
“With AppleCare One, customers in the U.K. can now enjoy the trusted protection of AppleCare+ in a way that’s simpler and more flexible than ever before — one plan, one price, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing all their eligible products can be covered.”
Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing
Device Eligibility Rules and Automatic Upgrades
Traditional AppleCare+ policies generally require purchase within a strict 60-day window following hardware acquisition. AppleCare One introduces more relaxed entry terms, allowing owners to enroll existing devices up to four years old as long as they are verified to be in good working condition.

The plan also automates upgrades when trading in hardware directly through Apple. According to Forbes, upgrading a registered iPhone via official channels triggers an automatic system update that swaps the older model out of the coverage group and replaces it with the newly purchased device.
Financial Calculations: When Does the Bundle Save Money?
Whether the bundled subscription reduces costs depends entirely on the specific hardware lineup a user owns. Insuring lower-cost gear—such as a base iPad, a standard iPhone, and an Apple Watch SE—individually without theft protection can sometimes remain cheaper than the flat monthly bundle fee.

Conversely, users maintaining high-end gear realize substantial savings. For instance, T3 notes that a customer protecting their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch together can save up to £11.48 per month compared to maintaining separate AppleCare+ with theft and loss plans for each device.
