Batik Air Malaysia has filed service reductions on several international routes throughout late March and April 2026, impacting travel between Malaysia and destinations across Asia and Australia.
Batik Air Malaysia Route Changes
Service reductions on the Kuala Lumpur – Seoul Incheon route will take effect from April 10 to April 27, 2026, decreasing from seven to an average of five weekly flights. The Kuala Lumpur – Singapore route will see a reduction from four to two daily flights between March 26 and April 30, 2026, with exceptions on select dates between March 29 and April 6.
Several routes originating from Kuala Lumpur Subang are also affected. Four weekly services to Bangkok Don Mueang are cancelled between March 25 and April 30, 2026, and one daily service to Singapore is suspended for the same period. Additionally, one daily service to Jakarta is cancelled from March 30 to April 30, 2026.
Further reductions include the Penang – Jakarta route, decreasing from two to one daily flight from April 6 to April 30, 2026. The daily service between Penang and Medan Kualanamu will be cancelled from March 31 to April 30, 2026, reversing a previously planned increase.
From March 29 to April 30, 2026, the sole international route operating from Kuala Lumpur Subang will be service to Kunming.
Additional service changes include:
- Ipoh – Singapore: Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly, effective March 29, 2026.
- Kota Kinabalu – Singapore: 1 daily service cancelled, effective March 29, 2026.
- Kuala Lumpur – Medan Kualanamu: Reduce from 3 to 2 daily, April 4 – May 31, 2026.
- Kuala Lumpur – Pekanbaru: 1 daily service cancelled, April 6 – June 10, 2026.
- Kuala Lumpur – Perth: Reduce from 3 to 2 daily, except selected dates, April 1 – April 22, 2026.
- Kuala Lumpur – Praya: Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly, April 3 – June 20, 2026.
- Penang – Singapore: Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly, effective March 29, 2026 (previously increased from 7 to 14 weekly).
