BukSU Strengthens IT Industry Partnerships

On February 9, 2026, BukSU signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Emottoons Animation Studio in Lapu-Lapu City, with CEO and Founder Philmore Amodia representing the studio. This agreement is expected to increase opportunities for students in animation and multimedia production.

The following day, February 10, 2026, a partnership was formalized with Infinity Hub in Davao City. Michael Angelo A. Bernales, Marketing Supervisor of Infinity Hub, signed the MOA, bolstering BukSU’s collaboration within the IT sector in Mindanao.

On February 12, 2026, BukSU signed an agreement with GridLock Games in Pasig City, represented by CEO and Executive Producer Patrick Odale Roxas. This partnership will open further avenues for students interested in game development and interactive media.

The university also renewed its existing agreement with Rocket Sheep Post Production Inc., with Owner and Director David Liongoren representing the company. The renewal ensures continued industry immersion opportunities for students.

Louie Jay S. Labastida, IT Internship Coordinator, and Marilou O. Espina, EMC Internship Coordinator, facilitated and coordinated the MOA signings and renewal.

These partnerships are designed to expand internship placements for students in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BSEMC) programs, providing hands-on experience, real-world projects, and professional mentorship in information technology, animation, post-production, and game development.
