/ The Iraqi women’s national team suffered a heavy loss against its Jordanian counterpart with a score of 0-6 in the second round of the fourth West Asian Federation Championship for junior national teams, which is being held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The match took place at Prince Mohammed Stadium in the Jordanian city of Zarqa at eight o’clock in the evening, Baghdad time.

According to Agency correspondent; The first half ended with Jordan leading the Iraqi women’s girls’ team with four free goals, and in the second half the Jordanian team added two goals to end the match with a clean six-point score.

Our correspondent pointed out that the Jordanian national team’s goals came from Khitam Shaker in the 8th minute, Hala Marar in the 21st minute, Maya Awadallah in the 30th minute, Haya Abu Ali in the 35th minute, and Janna Maatouq in the 78th and 85th minutes.

The Syrian women’s national team’s match with its Lebanese counterpart in the second round of the women’s women’s team, which preceded the match between Iraq and Jordan, ended in a positive draw, 1-1 in the match.

The Iraqi team lost its first match against its Syrian counterpart, 4-0, in the fourth edition of the West Asian Federation Cup.

The tournament will be held in a general league system with the participation of the teams of Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
